Designer Profile - Carlos Campos

Produced with  Esquire

Some call it charm. Some call it swagger. You just know it when you see it. And thanks to a crop of emerging menswear designers, the most stylish guys are dressing down to dress up.

Meet:

Carlos Campos, a Honduras designer who created costumes for the casts of Broadway’s Jersey Boys and The Graduate before launching his namesake label in 2007. Now, the F.I.T. alum designs the sharply tailored clothes we see on John Legend, Victor Cruz, Justin Timberlake, and the gentlemen of Franz Ferdinand.

You’ll like him if…

You like your basics a little luxe. There’s definitely a buttoned-up, elevated feel to the slim-tailored separates in Campos’s collections, but his South American roots keep the vibe laid-back.
