Designer Profile - Cadet

Produced with  Esquire

Some call it charm. Some call it swagger. You just know it when you see it. And thanks to a crop of emerging menswear designers, the most stylish guys are dressing down to dress up.

Meet:

CADET, a Brooklyn-based brand helmed by Raul Arevalo—a menswear design grad from F.I.T. who got his start at Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle Outfitters, and Club Monaco—and Brad Schmidt, who manages the business side. The entire collection of suiting, shirts, pants, outerwear, and knits is designed and manufactured out of CADET’s own factory in Bushwick.

You’ll like it if…

Wearing a suit your dad used to own makes you feel damn good. CADET’s clothes have a crisp, post-war appeal; expect classic silhouettes with rich fabrics and textures.
